Qualification management, international use of EcoWebDesk, management of hazardous materials – those and other topics constituted the focus of the two day event in Berlin. The users of EcoWebDesk, the software for occupational safety and environmental management, shared their knowledge about planning and executing audits as well as law changes and legal obligations and intensively discussed facility safety with regard to the new AwSV regulation (Ordinance on Facilities for the Handling of Substances Hazardous to Waters).
Practice-oriented case studies by Hugo Kern Liebers and STAEDTLER Mars conveyed to the users the know-how about transparent planning of instructions and clear representation of examinations in EcoWebDesk. The DQS GmbH (German Society for the Certification of Management Systems) provided users with an overview of the latest audit methods as well as changes to international standards. Users were also keenly interested in the successful worldwide roll-out of EcoWebDesk at VOITH due to the fact that a central management system, which covers all relevant occupational safety and environmental data, is of prime importance for many international companies.
A further practical insight into working with EcoWebDesk on mobile devices was provided by the tire manufacturer Pirelli. Accessing all information during on-site inspections in production halls and digitally entering the data is quickly becoming an integral part of audit processes. Additional presentations on the changes in EHS legislation and company specific legal registers led to an intensive exchange about online instructions and data maintenance with regard to hazardous materials in EcoWebDesk.
During the evening event in the center of Berlin the users got together in a relaxed atmosphere and discussed joint projects with the EcoIntense team.
We would like to thank all participants for the lively exchange and a successful event, and hope to see you again at the next EcoWebDesk user conference in 2015!
EcoIntense has changed its name to Quentic in October 2018. As part of this change, the software EcoWebDesk has also been renamed Quentic.
